Analysis of the current state of the issue of encrypting text information based on chaotic sequences

With the development of digitalization, the protection of critical information is becoming increasingly important against the background of the threat of quantum computers to currently considered reliable encryption methods. Based on these circumstances, the task of developing new encryption methods resistant to quantum attacks is relevant. One of the modern areas of research into encryption methods is encryption based on chaotic sequences. The most informative and practical type of information transfer in a digital environment is text information. At the same time, in the context of the modern form of international scientific activity, its diversity and volume, a systematic approach is required to determine the state of the research area. This article is devoted to the analysis of the field of text encryption based on chaotic behavior. The analysis is performed using progressive visualization of the evolution of the interaction network in the CiteSpace knowledge area. The most cited articles, the chronology of publications, the most recognized authors and the main trends in this area of research are determined. It is implied that the results will be useful for determining the current state and planning further research and contribution to this area of science.
