Die Entrepreneure der Autismus-Arena: Eine situationsanalytische Betrachtung im schulischen Feld
In educational research, a persistence of individualized – often medically influenced – perspectives on autism can be observed. Questions regarding the methodological consideration of social complexity in research are seldomly addressed. The explorative research project "The Practice of Autism" is used as an example to pursue this interest. In doing so, the Situational Analysis (SitA) – particularly the 'sensitizing concepts' of Clarke and Star (2008) – is proposed to empirically gain access to school practices that operate under 'autism'. Finally, implications for the use of the Situational Analysis in educational inclusion research – with a focus on dealing with dis/ability categories – are derived.
