THE INFLUENCE OF VARIANT ANATOMY OF THE PULMONARY VEINS ON THE SUSCEPTIBILITY TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION AND THE OUTCOMES OF INTERVENTIONAL TREATMENT (REVIEW)
Highlights The review presents an analysis of the current literature on studies of variant pulmonary vein anatomy as a factor that predicts predisposition to atrial fibrillation, as well as the outcome of interventional treatment. Abstract This review examines the role of variant pulmonary vein anatomy in predisposition to the development of atrial fibrillation. The use of individual pulmonary vein anatomy in assessing the outcome of interventional treatment is discussed.
