Two new Argyreia (Convolvulaceae) species from the Western Ghats of India

Two new Argyreia species from the Western Ghats of India are described and illustrated. Argyreia karuppusamyi sp. nov. exhibits distinct morphological features that differentiate it from the closely related species A. kleiniana , and A. munnarensis sp. nov., shows notable morphological differences from A. nellygherya. A detailed description, color photographs, comparison with allied species, population status, diagnostic key and ecology are provided here for easy identification and conservation.
