The grammatical term according to Safi Buri in his book "Explanation of the Evidences of Al-Fawa'id Al-Dhiya'iyyah
The grammatical term is a fundamental pillar in the construction of Arabic grammar, and an important source in enriching it. It is highlighted with grammar by Abu Al-Aswad Al-Du'ali, so some researchers in the language indicated that the period extending from the era of Abu Al-Aswad to the era of Al-Khalil is the period that prepared the emergence of the grammatical term. Then, it flourished with the emergence of the Basra and Kufa grammar schools, so grammar was filled with abundant terms, some of which were popular, and some of which disappeared. If we follow the grammatical terms that are still used, we will find most of them are Basra, as most grammarians used the Basra term, including Al-Safi Buri, who used the Basra term in his book, "Hal Shawahed Al-Fawaed Al-Dhia'iyyah", in which he explained the evidence of his Sheikh Al-Jami (898 AH) in the book, "Al-Fawaed Al-Dhia'iyyah". Here, the research came in an introduction, followed by two sections. The first section includes the term of names, and the second section includes miscellaneous terms, in which we tried to focus on the terms that were the subject of controversy when they first appeared; This is because this research does not have enough space to mention all the terms in the book, and each term in both sections I mentioned briefly and cited a succession in mentioning the name of the term among grammarians, so the evidence is with Al-Safi Buri. Then, the research end contains some of Al-Safi Buri results that are related to the following: • Al-Safi Buri's terms were characterized by stability, and this is normal for a late book that appeared after the rise of the grammatical edifice and the stability of its terms and concepts. • He analyzed the evidence mentioned in the book Al-Fawa'id Al-Dhiya'iyah with a correct analysis and had a moderate approach with regard to the question of grammatical differences, although the visual tendency was dominant with him. • There is variety in his evidences taken from the Holy Quran, Quranic readings, the Noble Prophetic Hadith, and the speech of the Arabs, and this is evidence of his knowledge and insight.
