Rationally Designed Binder with Polysulfide‐Affinitive Moieties and Robust Network Structures for Improved Polysulfide Trapping and Structural Stability of Sulfur Cathode (Small 18/2025)
Lithium–Sulfur Batteries A crosslinked cationic waterborne polyurethane is rationally designed as a binder for lithium-sulfur batteries (LSBs). It offers favorable adsorption sites for Li+ in lithium-polysulfides (LiPSs) through polar-polar interactions with heteroatoms, while cationic moieties provide additional adsorption sites for Snx− in LiPSs via electrostatic interactions. This promotes redox kinetics in LSBs, enhancing sulfur utilization. More in article number 2407224, You-Jin Lee, Seung Geol Lee, Jin Hong Lee, and co-workers.
