Different-Themical Classification of Proper Names of the ElectronicResource «Armenian Text of Russian Poetry»
The article presents a categorical-thematic classification of proper names that form the onomastic space of the corpus of «Armenian texts» of Russian poetry. The relevance of describing the onomastic content of a given local text is due to a number of factors: firstly, one of the objective criteria for identifying a local text as such is the presence of proper names in it; secondly, in the Armenian text, onyms are found already in the first stages of its formation; finally, proper names in a literary text are «clumps of meaning», and the explication of the multifaceted historical and cultural information contained in their semantics about the life of the people contributes to a deeper understanding of the content of the text. We carried out a continuous sampling of proper names in all sections of the corpus of «Armenian texts»; we identified 732 onomastic units, of which 279 onyms (1588 uses) have «Armenian attachment” (direct or indirect relation to Armenia). «Armenian» onomastic units are ranked by our frequency index, i.e. by the number of uses throughout the entire corpus of texts, and classified according to category and thematic group. As a result of classifying onyms by category, the following quantitative data were obtained: anthroponyms – 102 (36%), toponyms – 97 (34%), religionyms – 40 (15%), onomastic background – 40 (15%). According to the subject of the nomination, onyms were formed 27 thematic groups, the full composition of which is presented in this work (for each onym the particular index is indicated, for each group - the number of constituent onyms and uses). In terms of content, all the proper names we have identified can be divided into two groups: onyms-carriers of spiritual culture (the absolute majority of names presented in the text of the article) and onyms-carriers of material culture (names of wine and cognac brands, public places, etc.). In general, the proper names presented in this work quite fully reflect the key cultural, historical, geographical, socio-political, everyday and other Armenian realities, knowledge of which contributes to a deeper understanding and understanding of the «Armenian texts». These names form the onomastic space of the «Armenian text» of Russian poetry, which represents a kind of «onomastic portrait» of the Armenian people
