Lithium niobate based one-port SAWR sensor for vibration and acceleration measurement

We present a lithium niobate based one-port Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonator based sensor operating at 460 MHz to monitor the vibration frequency and acceleration on the aluminum beam. The sensor can detect vibration frequency from 5 to 200 Hz, and acceleration up to 3.5 g. The sensor is calibrated with laser doppler vibrometer and an accelerometer.
