Memory-integrated wave-based mechanical computing circuits

This work introduces a class of multifunctional mechanical circuits that leverage the rich dynamics of periodic materials and incorporate memory-integrated components, realized here using shape-memory alloy (SMA)-based metamaterial cells, which can recall stored deformable geometries and trigger specific actions upon thermal activation.
