IMPROVED ASSESSMENT OF AMMUNITION EFFECTIVENESS USING HIGH-DEFINITION DESCRIPTIVE FRAGMENTS SPRAYS MODELS
This paper deals with the weapon model as input data for vulnerability/lethality simulation. Such simulations are widely used in military equipment acquisition programs. These models are employed in lethality and vulnerability codes to assess the interaction of weapon effects with targets. The work presented in this document aims to achieve a more realistic description of weapon effects in V/L codes, especially for fragments velocities issues.
