Broad-Range Null-Steering Incorporated with Beam Tracking for Millimeter-Wave V2X
As discussions on autonomous driving continue to intensify, further development will require improvements in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. This paper proposes broad-range null-steering (BRNS) incorporated with beam tracking for stabilizing multi-user spatial multiplexing transmission in high-speed mobile environments. BRNS is a method that utilizes signal radiation angles obtained from location information to steer additional nulls toward interfering vehicle, thereby improving inter-user interference (IUI) suppression capability. However, desired user moves out of the beam, which leads IUI deterioration even using BRNS. We combine a location-based beam tracking and BRNS to further enhance multiuser spatial multiplexing performance. Computer simulation verifies its effectiveness.
