Power Allocation of Low-Complexity Multicarrier FTN Signaling for ISAC
This paper proposes precoded multicarrier faster-than-Nyquist (MFTN) signaling for integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) waveform, which improves the information rate. The complexity of MFTN signaling is maintained low with the aid of fast Fourier transform (FFT)-based diagonalization. Furthermore, under the constraints of the total transmit power and subcarrier power ratio, we optimize power allocation by simultaneously maximizing sensing mutual information and communication mutual information. Our performance results demonstrate that the proposed MFTN-based ISAC waveform is capable of enhancing the information rate while achieving a high comparable sensing performance.
