MANAJEMEN FUNDRAISING MASJID-MASJID TAQWA MUHAMMADIYAH MEDAN

This study aims to evaluate the fundraising management at Masjid Taqwa Muhammadiyah in Medan City using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research focuses on analyzing fundraising activities at these mosques, identifying common problems faced, and suggesting possible solutions. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation at 10 major mosques out of the total 91 Masjid Taqwa Muhammadiyah in Medan City. The findings indicate that the fundraising management at Masjid Taqwa Muhammadiyah involves four main aspects: planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Planning involves preparing a detailed budget for various mosque needs such as renovation, equipment purchases, and social assistance. Organizing includes establishing a clear team structure to carry out fundraising activities effectively. The implementation of fundraising activities engages the community and mosque administrators in the efforts to raise funds. Evaluation assesses the success of activities, transparency, and accountability in fund management. Although fundraising management at Masjid Taqwa Muhammadiyah in Medan City is generally well-implemented, there are still shortcomings that need addressing. The evaluation conducted by the Chairman of the Majelis Tabligh emphasizes transparency and security, ensuring that all activities proceed as planned. This study recommends improvements in financial management and oversight to enhance the effectiveness of fundraising at these mosques.
