Positions-Maps als Heuristik zur Analyse von Machtkonstellationen? Die Situation der Feststellung sonderpädagogischen Förderbedarfs ‚Lernen‘

Employing the strategy of positional mapping, as proposed in Situational Analysis (Clarke, Friese & Washburn, 2018), this article aims to identify discursive positions in the situation of special educational needs (SEN) assessment procedures. The positional map is based on data from the InDiVers research project. It can be concluded that SEN is negotiated along the de-/thematization of the opportunities and risks of a non-/assessment. Additionally, the article explores the potential of positional maps for the analysis of power dynamics, while also proposing an adjustment to the maps to examine relations both between and within positions.
