Private International Law and Arbitral Jurisdiction, by F. Varesis, Routledge, 2023, 237 pages

This collective study on the “Darmanin Act” of January 26, 2024 comprises a series of analyses on the reform’s main contributions to the immigration status and social integration of aliens in France. Following a particularly difficult legislative process and the censure of numerous provisions by the French Constitutional Council, the final text will come into force progressively, part by part, between January 2024 and January 2027. This study was assembled before the implementing decrees had been adopted.
