Scholar-activists like me and Judith N. DeSena, have spent most of their academic careers attempting to bring the problems of the less advantaged to the fore with the hope that by doing so they might be alleviated.Such was the case for my Brooklyn College colleagues Joseph Entin and Jeanne theoharis in Until We're Seen: Public College Students Expose the Hidden Inequalities of the COVID-19 Pandemic.In contrast, in COVID-19 in Brooklyn: Everyday life during a pandemic
