Implementasi Penilaian Non-Tes Dalam Perkuliahan Di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Se-Yogyakarta

Abstract: Non-test assessment is an evaluation method that focuses on the process and performance of students in real situations, without using written tests as the main instrument. This study aims to analyze the implementation of non-test assessments in the courses of maharah istima', maharah kalam, and maharah kitabah in the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) UIN Sunan Kalijaga, STIT Madani, and STAI Pandanaran Yogyakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the differences in assessment implementation in the three institutions. The results of the analysis show that UIN Sunan Kalijaga uses a project-based approach that is integrated with technology, focusing on language mastery in academic and global contexts.. STIT Madani prioritizes process-based assessments, such as simulations and role-playing, to build language skills gradually. Meanwhile, STAI Pandanaran applies assessments based on Islamic and practical contexts that are relevant to the needs of da'wah and daily life. The conclusion is that the implementation of non-test assessments in these three institutions reflects the application of authentic assessment and performance-based assessment theories, which assess students' abilities holistically. This approach focuses not only on the end result but also on the learning process, thus supporting the development of Arabic language skills in a contextual and applied manner. Despite differences in orientation and methods, the non-test assessments at the three institutions have been successful in providing a meaningful learning experience and preparing students to use Arabic professionally and in a relevant manner according to the needs of their respective educational environments. Keywords: Assesment non tes, Maharah Istima, Kalam, Kitabah
