Assistance in Preparating Strategic Plans For Regional Apparatus of Merauke Regency, South Papua Province

The Regional Apparatus Organization formulates the Strategic Plan on a medium-term basis. The Strategic Plan serves as a comprehensive blueprint for the five-year operation of the Regional Apparatus. It encompasses objectives, targets, programs, activities, and development sub-activities. It is formulated in alignment with the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Apparatus and is directed by the Regional Medium Term Development Plan. The formulation of the Strategic Plan should additionally be informed by the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 900 of 2023 and the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017. The difficulty is that not all planners possess the capacity to adhere to the stipulations for developing the strategic plan. Consequently, support is required to facilitate the formulation of the Strategic Plan by the Regional Apparatus Organization. By employing a participatory approach, this community service strategy affords planners the chance to cultivate their creativity while also identifying sub-activities that address challenges in accordance with the functions and responsibilities they perform. The objective of this assistance is to increase the comprehension of the Regional Apparatus Organization planners regarding the concept of the Strategic Plan, in adherence to relevant regulations.
