Minimal Damage and Tunable Fabrication of Atomic‐Scale Ultrathin YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Nanowires with High Uniformity
YBCO Nanowires High-quality YBCO nanowires have great potential in improving the performance of high-temperature superconducting nanowire single photon detectors. In article number 2400661, Yang Wang, Yuqing Liu, Peng Li, and co-workers propose a method for fabricating ultrathin and ultranarrow YBCO nanowires by using in situ protective layers and low-temperature inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching, achieving tunability of nanowire size, as well as minimal damage (≈15 nm) and excellent uniformity.
