Tathbiq al-Muqârabah al-‘Ilmiyyah fî Ta‘lîm Mahârah al-Qirâ’ah fî Madrasah ‘Âliyah Ma‘ârif Raudhat al-Thâlibîn bi Metro

Abstract The purpose of this study was to use the application of a scientific approach to improve Arabic Maharah Qiro'ah and identify its obstacles. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with observation, documentation, and interview techniques to describe the application of a scientific approach in Maharah Qiro'ah. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, learning maharah qira'ah with a scientific approach was applied systematically through five stages: observing, students are invited to be more careful and focused. This means that students are more courageous in expressing their curiosity. Collecting information, students are encouraged to actively seek information from various sources. Reasoning, students learn to connect information into a meaningful conclusion. And in conclusion, students can strengthen their understanding of the material being studied. The results of this study indicate that the application of a scientific approach supports improving the maharoh qira'ah of students implemented at Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Roudlotut Tholibin Metro.
