HIGH EFFICIENCY INDUCTIVE CHARGING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

EVs have drawn great interest as a sustainable alternative for conventional fossil fuel-based transportation. Still, widespread EV adoption runs into significant charging efficiency and convenience issues. Inductive charging technology offers a hopeful solution by allowing WPT, hence eliminating the need for physical connectors. Emphasizing power transfer efficiency, reducing energy losses, and improving system reliability, this paper presents a high-efficiency inductive charging system for EVs. Power electronics control, resonance tuning, and improved coil design help the proposed approach to increase charging performance. Experimental data and simulations reveal how well the proposed approach allows effective wireless charging for EVs.
