Cinta Tak Memandang Bulu: Sebuah Sketsa Multikultural Menurut Kitab Kidung Agung 1:5 Relevansinya Terhadap Struktur Sosial Horizontal Bangsa Indonesia

Song of Solomon 1:5 contains a deep meaning of love that transcends the boundaries of race, ethnicity, and social status. This verse reflects the principle of multiculturalism in a theological context, where love is understood as an element that does not discriminate against humans based on skin color or social background. The exegetical approach in this study involves the analysis of the word in the original language, namely Hebrew, where the phrase "שְׁחוֹרָה אֲנִי וְנָאוָה" (shechorah ani ve-naavah) shows the contrast between skin color and beauty as complementary concepts. The hermeneutical approach then interprets this verse in the social context of ancient Israel as well as its implications in today's multicultural society, where beauty standards should not be the basis of discrimination. This research aims to explore the meaning of this verse through these two approaches and place it in the context of today's multiculturalism.
