Transient infra-Hisian block from left ventricular lateral wall venous ethanol ablation
Retrograde coronary venous ethanol ablation has emerged as an effective strategy for treatment of ventricular tachycardia, particularly in areas with difficult accessibility via standard endocardial or epicardial approach. In this case, we describe a previously unidentified phenomenon of transient infraHisian block after performing left ventricular lateral wall ethanol ablation. Ethanol ablation has a well-documented risk of AV block, particularly in areas of septal substrate and with vein of Marshall ablation.
