Preparation and Properties of One-component Waterborne Acrylic Anticorrosive Coatings for Marine Applications
To prepare a paint that could be used for ship corrosion protection.A single-component water-based acrylic was used as the main film-forming material, and zinc phosphate and aluminum tripolyphosphate were added as rust-resistant pigments.Various additives were used as auxiliaries to obtain a single-component water-based acrylic paint for ship use.The effects of the content of single-component water-based acrylic, the amount of various additives, and the amount of pigments and fillers on the coating performance were discussed. The paint had good thermal storage stability and good corrosion resistance, and the drying time was shorter, the adhesion was stronger, and the flexibility was good. The single-component water-based acrylic paint could meet the requirements for ship corrosion protection.
