Electronic Property Analysis of Triangulenes Through Novel Neighborhood Degree Sum-Based Topological Indices and Regression Models
n-Triangulenes are triangular-shaped graphene nanoflakes with distinct electrical characteristics due to their non-kekulean structure. These are potential materials with future spintronics and electronics applications. Here, we employ a set of novel neighborhood degree sum-based topological indices to analyze the structural properties of these compounds. These indices aid in developing a regression model to predict electronic properties of higher homologues of triangulene through computational methods. Utilizing these topological indices, we may be able to establish a relationship between the precise arrangement of atoms in triangulenes and their chemical and physical properties.
