Current Epidemiological and Clinical Features of Sarcoidosis in Japan: A Nationwide Claims Data Study
The results of this study provide new insights into sarcoidosis epidemiology and clinical characteristics in Japan, including treatment patterns and comorbidities. These findings suggest potential shared immunological mechanisms among various autoimmune diseases and highlight the need for comprehensive management approaches that consider both disease-specific and treatment-related complications. This article was previously presented as a meeting abstract at the 65th Annual Meeting of The Japan Respiratory Society on April 12, 2025.
