Evolving the Health Care Service Model for Menopause With Digital Health
Menopause has been misunderstood by society and doctors for decades. The lack of information, misinformation, and ignorance surrounding perimenopause and menopause has resulted in significant suffering and harm to women's health that has largely been tolerated by society (Faubion & Shufelt, 2022). Changes to systems of health care are urgently needed to improve the health and lives of peri/menopausal people. As one part of the solution, digital health platforms dedicated to menopause support have the potential to increase accessibility and create better systems of care for women's health.
