History, problems and trends in the development of associative lexicography in Europe, USA, China and Russia
This article examines, characterizes, and summarizes the possibilities of lexicographical representation of psycholinguistics in Europe, the USA, Russia, and China. It demonstrates that the associative field constructed as a result of the experiment reflects the interrelationship of components words and their meanings. It is proven that with the emergence of associative dictionaries, it became possible to uncover the interaction between a word and its meaning within the associative field and to model a “world language” that reflects the real state of consciousness of its lexical bearer. The author proposes prospects for creating dictionaries in electronic formats.
