En historie om en lærlings læring på arbeidsplassen: Læreprosesser mot fagarbeiderkompetanse – fra novise til ekspert

This article deals with some considerations around deep learning, and whether it happens through learning at work. My own learning history in a craft subject is used as a background for the reflections and discussions. The learning history contains learning of details in a craft, and at the same time in the learning process, I also learned how the trade was part of an organisational context. Although the article is limited to a self-perceived learning history, it may be possible to reach a conclusion and contribute to the discussion about learning at work and in-depth learning with a background in empirical evidence. The literature review shows that there is almost no research that deals with in-depth learning related to learning in work/work-based learning. This is an article where my subjective experiences are used to illuminate and discuss deep learning at the workplace. In terms of research, an autoethnographic approach has been used, which in practice means that researcher and informant are the same person.
