Purchase intention toward Vietnamese smart apartments
The era of technology and Internet development has brought about new changes in consumer trends of today's customers. Among them is the trend of using smart apartments in cities worldwide, especially in Vietnam. This study aims to exploit factors that influence the intention to buy smart apartments based on the TAM theory with data collected from 192 surveys of young customers in Vietnam. The results of the PLS-SEM structural model analysis show that the factor Perceived usefulness has a higher level of influence on customers’ purchase intention regarding smart apartments. Besides, the variable "Use attitude" also plays an effective mediating role in explaining the dependent variable "Purchase intention" of customers. As a result, this paper not only contributes to the existing literature with a new model using perceived usefulness and ease of use under the context of smart apartments but also proposes management implications to decision-makers in the given field.
