Comparative study of treated and untreated Crotalaria juncea L. fibres in polyester matrices

In the past few years, scientists have been drawn to natural fibres and their unique qualities in order to produce novel composites made of polymers. Thus, the fibre of Crotalaria juncea L. (Abaca) was recognised as a possible reinforcing substance, and the process of creating polyester-based composites with polymer matrix was finished. The creation of polyester composite laminates that were treated and unprocessed (C. juncea L., Abaca) and the assessment of their elastic, bending, and impact characteristics in accordance with ASTM standards were the main objectives of the current study. Numerous fibre orientations, including random, continuous, axial, and triaxial, have been taken into account, and their characteristics were assessed.
