Low-temperature sol-gel synthesis of nanocrystalline aluminium oxide in hemp fibres for enhanced UV resistance
A simple method for producing nanocrystalline aluminium oxide (Al2O3) in hemp fibre using a low-temperature sol-gel process for enhanced UV resistance has been investigated. Tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) was employed as a precursor, and Al2O3 was synthesised at low temperatures using ultrasonic disruption. The process was then performed concurrently with the deposit of hemp fibres. The scanning electron microscopy technique was used to characterise functionalized hemp fibres. An UV absorbance analyzer was used to test the Al2O3-constructed hemp fibre's ultraviolet light resistance. The findings show that anatase and rutile crystalline Al2O3-Nps, with a size of around 17 and 19 nm, were effectively synthesised and deposited in the hemp fibres' tiny pores, lumen, which is and surfaces. It was possible to provide long-lasting ultraviolet (UV) protection, demonstrating promise for an array of practical applications involving the cold-condition sonochemical production of metallic oxide nanoparticles and their imposition in permeable fabrics.
