THE EFFECT OF DIVIDEND POLICY, INVESTMENT DECISION, LEVERAGE, PROFITABILITY, AND FIRM SIZE ON FIRM VALUE: EMPIRICAL STUDY ON INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES LISTED ON PALESTINE EXCHANGE AND AMMAN STOCK EXCHANGE FROM THE PERIOD (2016-2022)
This study investigates the impact of dividend policy, investment decisions, leverage, profitability, and firm size on the firm value of industrial companies listed on the Palestine and Amman Stock Exchanges from 2016 to 2022.Employing a descriptive-analytical approach, a sample of 44 companies, 11 from the Palestinian Stock Exchange and 33 from the Amman Stock Exchange, was selected, and financial data were analyzed based on reports and records. The results highlight a statistically significant influence of Total Assets Growth (TAG) and Return on Assets (ROA) on firm value, with no statistically significant effects observed for Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), Leverage (LEV), and Firm Size (FSIZE).Data compilation involved extracting information from annual reports and relevant journals, specifically focusing on industrial companies listed on these exchanges.Recommendations include enhancing ROA through effective asset utilization, operational improvements, and strategic investment planning. The researcher proposes future studies to explore the relationship between ROA and firm value in different economic contexts, investigate TAG implications across industries, and analyze factors influencing firm size and its correlation with firm value in diverse markets.
