THE PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL CHALLENGES AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO PROFESSIONAL CREATIVITY AMONG PALESTINIAN TEACHERS IN ARAB MIDDLE SCHOOLS FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVE
The study aimed to identify the psychological and social challenges and their relationship to professional creativity among Palestinian teachers in Arab middle schools from their perspective. To achieve the study's objectives, the descriptive correlational methodology was employed.A questionnaire consisting of 40 items was designed, divided into three axes: the psychological challenges axis, which included 15 items, the social challenges axis, which included 15 items, and the professional development and creativity axis, which included 10 items. The tool was applied to the community of teachers in Arab middle schools, totaling 9,500 teachers, with a randomly selected sample of 370 teachers during the academic year 2024-2025.After collecting and coding the questionnaires, they were entered into a computer and statistically processed using the SPSS statistical analysis software. The study found that the arithmetic means of the psychological and social challenges and their relationship to professional creativity among Palestinian teachers in Arab middle schools from their perspective were at a moderate level. The study also showed no statistically significant differences in the mean responses of the sample attributable to the variables of gender, academic qualification, and years of experience. The most important recommendation made by the researcher is to provide sustainable psychological and social support programs for teachers to help them cope with the psychological challenges they face.Furthermore, school administrations should contribute to creating a supportive and stimulating educational environment for professional creativity, organize training courses and workshops focused on innovation in education, utilize modern teaching methods, reduce the workload burden on teachers, and strengthen their resilience both morally and financially to enhance their professional and creative growth.
