EPISTEMOLOGY BETWEEN WESTERN THOUGHT AND THE QUR’ANIC EPISTEMOLOGICAL VISION -A STUDY IN THE COGNITIVE METHODOLOGY OF THE QUR’AN BY ABU ALQASIM HAJ HAMAD
The research on epistemology has been a central issue in Western thought, as well as in Islamic thought, through thinkers, philosophers and those interested in this theory from all its aspects and researches, starting with the possibility and nature of knowledge and ending with its sources and fields, how not to deconstruct the data of the question of knowledge, it is a branch of contemporary philosophy, on the other hand, the glorious Quran addressed these data and researches, and deconstructed them first and foremost, and the interest in it increased among Islamic thought when Western theories failed to rectify the humanity of man and lead him to safety, which are the theories that lead humanity and the earth to perdition. This paper aims to establish alternative Islamic epistemological theories that humanity desperately needs as an alternative approach to the Western epistemological approaches that have torn man apart and stripped him of his humanity and purpose, through the Qur'anic epistemological methodology called for by Abul Qasim Haj Hamad more than three decades ago, through three discussions; the first, in which we address the Western philosophical vision of the theory of knowledge and the dead end it has reached, and the second we called: A Unifying Model of Knowledge through the Qur'anic Epistemological Vision of Hajj Hamad, while the third is devoted to applied examples of the Qur'anic epistemological methodology
