Abstract

This study aims to confirm the importance of digital transformation not only in education, but also in life in general, since we do not have to choose between our desires, after digitalization has become a solar planet that imposes itself day and night, and highlights the state of experimentation and attempt to catch up with this planet, and as a personal experience for me, it constitutes basically, contemporary grounded theory, based on dealing with the problem of study, and trying to grasp its most important components, and emphasizing the importance of familiarity with the terminology of digitization, its requirements, and its reflections on educational institutions and academics in a way that maintains standards of quality, creativity, and leadership, and the sophistication of a receptive environment capable of helping the recipient beneficiaries in this renewed and accelerating world. In light of the cognitive revolution and massive digital development, applications of Artificial Intelligence and robots, the internet of things, digital education platforms, digital databases and the like, there is a need to provide a smart learning environment that stimulates individuals and develops their skills in an era in which means and tools change and concepts and knowledge develop, an environment that takes into account the needs of teachers and learners, the requirements of this change and to maintain comprehensive quality requirements; to achieve standards of independence and sustainable development. The study relied on analysis and comparison, based on observation as I was involved in it, in addition to the experiences of my colleagues and guided interviews, and benefiting from a study that covered seven universities in which I worked.
