Studies on the electrochemical reactions of 1-amino phosphonates

Electrochemical direct conversion of 1-aminoalkylphosphonates into novel heteroaromatic compounds has been studied and described. Cyclicvoltametry analysis showed that 1-aminoalkylphosphonate was oxidized in the anode, followed by removing the phosphoryl group, giving the novel heteroaromatic compound. The structure of the compound was characterized by HRMS and NMR analysis. • Electrochemical studies of aminophosphonates. • Undivided cells in the transition-metal and oxidant-free conditions. • One-pot conversion of aminophosphonates to novel phenanthridine amine. • Cyclic voltammetric (CV) studies of aminophosphonates. • Radical reactions.
