Küreselleşmenin Savaş Teknikleri Üzerindeki Etkisi: Hibrit Savaş ve İstihbarat

The main purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical and conceptual framework for further research in this field by focusing on the relationship between intelligence and the concept of ‘hybrid warfare’, which has been frequently discussed in the security studies literature in recent years and includes elements of asymmetric warfare. In this context, the study examines the question ‘What is the structural nature of hybrid warfare and is the functional role of intelligence increasing in this war doctrine?’ It seeks to answer this question through a case study analysis of the ‘2006 Israel-Hezbollah War’. The study finds that hybrid warfare, in which different attack elements are conducted synchronously, does not contain fundamentally new elements; however, the use of these elements with unique tactics and strategies transforms the character of the war. Furthermore, with the expansion of the threat spectrum in such highly uncertain asymmetric conflict environments, intelligence has gained a critical position in terms of both early warning and decision support mechanisms, significantly increasing the burden and responsibility of intelligence agencies. Abstract
