A HIDDEN CHALLENGE: TWO NOVEL ENDOSCOPIC TECHNIQUES TO RESECT GASTRIC EXOPHYTIC SUBEPITHELIAL LESIONS

tree for a stent-in-stent removal at a later date. After three months, the stents were able to be removed, and the bile duct was successfully cannulated and swept with a balloon.Stones, stone debris, and sludge were removed from the bile duct. One month later, the patient returned for removal of the LAMS, leaving a fistula in place.Contrast was injected into the fistula to ensure patency and that no leak was present. Conclusion: An EDDE was able to be successfully performed between the D1 and D2 portion of the duodenum in a patient who previously underwent duodenal switch.Following the procedure, the patient was asymptomatic and stent free. The successful completion of this procedure indicates that it may be safe and effective to perform an EDDE procedure in patients who have previously undergone duodenal switch surgery.
