OR3-6 | Outcomes with Fluoropolymer Stents in Patients Undergoing Non-Cardiac Surgery
Fluoropolymer everolimus eluting stents (EES) have been shown to have inherent thrombo-resistant properties including in high inflammatory conditions like COVID-19 induced cytokine storm. Whether this property results in improved outcomes in patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery (NCS), a state of heightened inflammation, is not known.
