A-49 | A Comparison Between Intracoronary Thrombolysis, Primary PCI and Pharmacoinvasive Strategy at a Tertiary Care Hospital: Which is Better?- A Pilot Study
Delivering reperfusion therapy rapidly is paramount in STEMI management, outweighing the importance of the specific method. This study examines three strategies: Pharmacoinvasive therapy, Primary PCI, and Intracoronary catheter-directed thrombolysis using low-dose Tenecteplase (IC TNK) with deferred PCI for high thrombus burden cases. The study evaluates outcomes like reperfusion success, stent use, bleeding risk, mortality, non-fatal MI, and revascularization. While global data exists, Indian-specific evidence is scarce, necessitating this research.
