E-75 | A Sticky Situation: Unveiling Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement Outcomes for Patients with Lower Baseline Platelet Counts

models were created to estimate the odds of cardiogenic shock(CS), acute kidney injury (AKI), mechanical circulatory support(MCS), stroke, major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), and all-cause death per 1-point increase in their age-adjusted CCI score. Results: Our study evaluated 460510 adults who underwent TAVR.The mean age, CCI, and age-adjusted CCI-score of all patients were 78.58 years, 2.94, and 6.77, respectively. After further adjusting for elective status, race, insurance form, and sex, our multivariable models found that the per-one-point increase in MCS was 7.3%, while it was 48.7% for stroke, 31.8% for MACCE, 37.7% for AKI, 12.6% for CS and 18.2% for all-cause mortality among patients in our cohort. Conclusions: In its current form, our findings confirm that the age-adjusted CCI model plays an important role in predicting events of several complications among TAVR cases. The use of such models in the clinical setting may help physicians stratify patients into at-risk groups, which may improve their preoperative assessments and monitor them closely for changes during and after the procedure.
