C-20 | Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Closure Combined With Catheter Ablation vs Standalone Catheter Ablation for Treatment of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation: An Updated Meta-Analysis
The combination of catheter ablation (CA) with percutaneous left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) offers a potentially comprehensive treatment for persistent atrial fibrillation (PAF) compared to CA alone. However, the effectiveness and safety of this approach remain debated; hence, a meta-analysis is indicated to comprehensively evaluate the available literature.
