E-9 | Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement Among Patients With Marfan Syndrome and Differences in Outcomes

Results: Of 567 patients included, 311 (54.9%) underwent TAVR with BEV and 256 (45.1%) with SEV.239 (42.2%) had NF and 328 (57.8%) had MF.At 1-year follow-up, primary composite event rate was not different between patients with NF and MF (Figure 1).In univariate analysis by valve type, patients with NF after TAVR with BEV had lower primary outcome event rate at 1 year compared to patients with MF, however, there was no difference in multivariate analysis (P interaction 0.31) (Figure 1).Furthermore, there was no difference in the event rate of individual components of the primary outcome regardless of valve type. Conclusions: Overall, the 1-year event rate of composite of all-cause mortality or HFH was not different between patients with NF and MF after TAVR.The BEV subgroup suggested improvement in outcome in NF patients than MF, however, this was attenuated in multivariate analysis.
