F-98 | Intersection of Metabolically Healthy and Metabolically Unhealthy Obesity with In-hospital Mortality Among Elderly Pulmonary Embolism Patients Managed with Catheter Directed Thrombolysis

DVT: 1.34 (95% CI 1.16, 1.54), PE: 1.42 (95% CI 1.27, 1.58) and VTE: 1.43 (95% CI 1.30, 1.58). It was noted that patients with MPN are at a higher risk for GI bleed with an adjusted odds ratio of 1.32 (95% CI: 1.16,1.50).Conclusions: This real-world database study, sheds light that presence of MPN as an underlying condition in patients hospitalized with PH is associated with significantly higher thrombotic and GI bleeding risk, leading to higher LOS, and hospital utilization metrics.Future prospective studies are warranted to customize the thromboprophylaxis in this sub-group.
