F-109 | Effect of Hospital Setting and Teaching Status on Thrombectomy Rates of Massive and Hemodynamically Unstable Acute Pulmonary Embolism
Thrombectomy is indicated for massive pulmonary embolism (PE), and hemodynamically unstable patients. However, little is known about how hospital setting influences the utilization of thrombectomy in saddle PE. This study examines differences in thrombectomy rates and in-hospital outcomes among patients admitted with saddle PE or thrombotic PE with acute cor pulmonale.
