D-98 | Comparing Rotational vs. Non-Rotational Atherectomy PCI in Chronic Total Occlusion Management: A Meta-Analysis
The optimal treatment strategy for chronic total occlusions (CTOs) remains a complex question for interventional cardiologists, particularly when deciding between rotational atherectomy (RA) and non-rotational atherectomy (Non-RA) PCI. This meta-analysis focuses on the safety of RA in CTO lesions, using major adverse cardiac events (MACE) - including death, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI), and target vessel revascularization - as a critical measure of procedural success and patient well -being.
