Application of flat and grid electrodes in the system of registration of cracks of gas turbine engine blades
The problem of crack detection in gas turbine engine blades during operation is considered. Based on a series of experiments, a comparative analysis of the recorded jump of current rate is performed using flat and grid electrodes. It is determined that grid electrodes are more effective than flat electrodes in obtaining of a signal about the crack presence.
