Method of accelerated determination of the range of the endurance limit for structural steels

The method for accelerated determination of the endurance limit range for 35, 30ХГСА, 45, 40Х steels using a step-by-step test program and measurement of the specific electrical resistance of samples is considered. Tension/compression tests are carried out in air at normal temperature. The Locati method is selected for comparison. It is established, that the proposed method is well suited for unalloyed steels with a ferrite-pearlite structure.
