Modernization of a roll-type electrobaromembrane apparatus and calculation of its elements

A roll-type electrobaromembrane apparatus for regeneration of process solutions are developed. Its advantages include low hydraulic resistance in channels for removal of retentate, near-anode and near-cathode permeate, as well as high productivity, improved flow hydrodynamics, and low concentration polarization. A calculation of the process parameters of the apparatus is developed. It is shown that a decrease in hydraulic resistance is achieved by increasing of the volume of the separated solution.
